Are your Mercedes wheels actually Mercedes wheels? I pull my 'Mercedes' 15 inch 8-hole wheels looking for part numbers and branding and clues. Let me know what you know about the history of what I have on my 1987 W124 300E.

After 36 years of use the interior front dome light on my Mercedes W124 has sagged and half hangs out of the roof. The lighting frame also supports the sunroof sliding and pop up switch so this impacts the operation of the sunroof. This is how to remove the switch and reinforce the roof lining. This also shows how to replace the bulbs and there is a bonus option to replace your globes with LED's for your interior lights as well.

Pressure washing my Mercedes 300E W124 8-Hole 15 inch wheels. Removing the black dust and grime. This is an AMSR video and just an enjoyable snack to watch while having a coffee.

The wheels are 8-Hole, 15 inch, 7Jx15. Tyres are 205/65 R15 Continental.

This 1987 Mercedes 300e W124 does not have working front parking lights. The rear park lights work and the bulbs in the front are good so the headlight switch is also ok. I fixed this by repairing the illumination or lighting control module which is labelled N7 on the W124 circuit diagram. This is the module that provides the 'bulb failure' warning on your dash. This version of the module passes all current from the light switch, via the module then to the bulb. If there is broken solder, the bulb will not work. I have found out that there is a later version of the control module that only senses if a bulb is not working, it does not run the supply current. It does have the same part number unfortunately. You may have to investigate year models to see which version you have.
