Repair. Restore. Modify. Electrify.

Restomodding a car my way. Repairing it, restoring it and modifying it. And then EV swapping it with a 300+ HP Tesla motor. Project one is a Mercedes Benz 300E W124 from 1987.

EV conversions are the new restomod. Race, Time-attack. Drift, Show, Cruise, Stance or personal enjoyment, it’s all on the table. Electric vehicles are the future including for classic cars and their enjoyment or preservation. Electric Vehicle technology, at least for some, is the logical way forward to preserve the past.

Tesla motors, Nissan Leaf motors, Hyper9 motors and may others offer an almost unlimited range of choices for EV conversions. Battery packs and modules from many makes including Tesla, VW and Nissan can be repurposed for a project. Full subframes with the mounted motor offer opportunities for ground up tube frame builds or bolt on projects. Everything is on the table.

But at the heart of it this is a repair and restore operation too. Soo join me for the journey as we look after the things that have to be done and plan and build the things we dream about. Dream cars don’t build themselves.
